Koka Art Therapy
“A compassionate art therapy practice where people are supported to make sense of their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and rediscover their inner resources through creative expression.”
“Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a registered art therapist with a background in the medical field and a passion for creative therapies. My practice offers support through an arts-based, trauma-informed lens that values neurodiversity and is rooted in safety, creativity, and connection. I enjoy using the experiences of my Tongan/Australian upbringing to inform my relational skills as an art therapist.”

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is an evidence-based technique that combines art-making with psychotherapy to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Koka Art Therapy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and create — the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their deep and enduring connection to land, waters, skies, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
