Hi, I’m Angela
A registered art therapist based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. I specialise in using creative processes to support exploration, emotional expression, and healing in a safe and non-judgemental space. I work with a range of materials including paint, pastels, clay, collage, dioramas, masks and puppetry, tailored to each client's needs.
With over 15 years of experience in the medical field — including palliative care and agency-based nursing — I bring a grounded, trauma-informed and humanistic approach to therapy. I’ve also worked for three years in the family violence sector and have experience in sub-acute mental health settings, including the Community Recovery Program and PARC Heidelberg. These roles have deepened my commitment to supporting individuals through complex trauma, transitions, and recovery.
As a proud woman of Tongan heritage, I value cultural humility and enjoy weaving cultural elements into sessions where appropriate. I also practise as a neuro-affirming therapist, supporting clients in ways that honour neurodiversity and individual processing styles.
My approach is client-centred, attachment-informed, and grounded in trust, creativity, and collaboration.
