Hi, I’m Angela.
I’m a registered art therapist with a background in the medical field and a passion for creative therapies. I support children, adolescents and adults through a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, arts-based lens. My practice is grounded in safety, creativity, and connection. I enjoy using the experiences of my Tongan/Australian upbringing to inform my relational skills as an art therapist.

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is an evidence-based technique that combines art-making with psychotherapy to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It helps individuals express emotions, reduce stress, and explore their inner selves, fostering self-discovery and personal growth in a supportive environment. This holistic approach addresses various psychological issues and promotes relaxation and mindfulness.

Acknowledgement of Country
Koka Art Therapy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and create — the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their deep and enduring connection to land, waters, skies, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
